Kabuto / Graywolf Fiberglass Rod 8' 5wt 7'9" Just about the only negative

Just about the only negative about this rod (and I'm probably being a little over-scrupulous here) is that there are some very small digs in the cork from where the snake guides have pressed into it while the rod was in the tube

This particular reel comes from the estate of the master reel maker

Original ribbed brass reel foot is straight and unaltered

and the reel seat boasts the small "wedding band" slide ring
