Vintage Ball in Cage Whimsy with Thin Walls and Pointed Finial 1960s which I must say isThe pale, dry wood on this whimsy shows some stains patcheds of red, and green and black, as if it landed in the marker drawer for a while and absorbed a few bleeds. I really like the form, though, with these very thin rails to the "cage" and nice pointy finial on top, making it feel a bit like an aerodynamic dart, ready to be thrown at a target!
