Farlex Platewind Fly Reel 1-1 DD 3 3/4" 7'7" There is a machined hiddenA nice Farlex Platewind direct drive fly reel, 3 3 4" diameter and set up for RHW (though the bias is fairly neutral). Raised pillar design. Serial #078. There is one tiny mounting mark one end of the foot but I can find no sign that the reel has been fished. Black anodized throughout. The reel weighs 10 ounces on my scale. Gear and pawl drag system with a nice loud click. Ebonite handle that's slightly flared at the end. The winding plate sports a
