We've had Merfolk show up here and there in the last couple of expansions, but Fallen Empires follows in the footsteps of the last couple of expansions to finally start making the creature type 'Merfolk' consistently appear

I even love the clunky combat tricks that just play weirdly, like [casthaven]Swell of Growth[/casthaven] (it was supposed to provide an additional buff to landfall creatures, but the rarity of that being useful, due to the low power of landfall creatures, often relegated it to a horrible ramp spell)

Perhaps they should dock you a point or two for your lack of originality
