It comes at a price that might make players consider whether this card is worth playing, but I think its a good trade against opponents running islands
In all honesty, its one of the better 3-mana counterspells, potentially giving you control of the spell, and your opponent freaks out at the possibility of getting their expensive spell stolen, not countered
they become Level 2 (until the end of this turn), and if they do, they cannot be used as Synchro Material, except for the Synchro Summon of a Zombie monster
Sure, you will likely get a win or two off with the instant-lose ability, but getting a six or seven drop legendary creature out on turn two or three is much more reliable
